Leeds is looking forward to welcoming Broken Social Scene next week as part of a tour to promote the band’s first album in seven years after 2010’s Forgiveness Rock Record.
The ‘Hug Of Thunder’ tour takes place as they approach their twentieth anniversary in 2019 and this gig will be a chance for long-standing fans and those coming to them for the first time to enjoy them at one of the cities most interesting and intimate venues: Belgrave Music Hall.
Expectations are high for their performance with the new album Hug Of Thunder having received fantastic reviews praising its relevance, confidence and vigour, and with five albums for them to play from, this is going to be a highlight of the summer gig programme in West Yorkshire.
The new album Hug Of Thunder is released by City Slang!.
The tour is also supporting charity Partners in Health.
